Resolution check in

According to several studies about half of the population makes a New Years resolution.

A week into the new year only 72% of those people are still going strong.

A low 8% of those people will hold themselves to their resolutions for the whole year. 

Anyone who’s ever had a gym membership knows that if you can survive the January crowd the rest of the year is going to be less crowded. There are  whole business models around this phenomena (see any 24 hour gym this week and compare to a regular July day).

So far I’m sticking with my resolutions. Are you?

  1. Well done! I made a lot of resolutions but have not managed to do all of them thanks to a sickness bug. I’m not going to let it stop me once I’m better though!

    • You could go with Chinese New Year as your start date. That’s January 28th this year.

      One year we did a resolution per month (just for that month unless it had proved both effective and reasonably pleasant).
